Membership to the Madison Retriever Club is by sponsorship only. If you know someone who is currently a member in good standing, you can contact them directly about membership. If you don't know anyone that's currently a member, we can set up a meeting with you and one of our club members to introduce you to what our club has to offer and what we expect from our members.
Membership fees are $290 for new members, payable in full at the time a membership application is submitted. New members will receive a “refund” for work credits earned in the first year. Check the Events page to sign up for work credits. This will be paid in the form of a credit issued by the club treasurer to the credit card the new member used for payment. Work credits are $40 for a full day, $20 for half days. Work credits earned in the first year of membership will also be credited to the new member at the time of the first membership renewal. For example a new member joining in 2016 and working 4 full days will receive $160 credit in 2016. If membership is renewed in 2017, another $160 credit will be applied to the $290 dues payable for 2017.
